A note—
So you've written your masterpiece of a manuscript and you're ready to send it off. "I don't need an editor," you say to yourself. "I know what I'm doing; after all, who would know my story better than me?" Well, even the most accomplished writers will need an editor to look over their work before it hits bookshelves (and yes, even the virtual ones). It can be a difficult process, sifting through page after page, line after line, especially if you have already read your own story so many times. That's why hiring an outside editor to look over your work with a fresh, unbiased pair of eyes is an absolute must. Now, editing isn't as black and white as merely repairing a comma splice. There are different types of editing, such as proofreading, copy-editing, and manuscript assessments, all of which we offer here at the Black Rabbit Press.
Whether you are preparing to publish your first (or hundredth) book, or you're an academic writer or student, we've got you covered. Although we are confident that we can tackle any manuscript or paper sent our way, if for some reason we feel the content of the work is outside the scope of our expertise, we will gladly connect you with another editing service.
Our rates
Fiction & Non-fiction manuscripts: 0.017 cents/word.
(Deposit of 25% of total due at booking.)
Research & Student papers: Dependent upon project.
(Deposit of 50% of total due at booking. Inquire about a current student discount.)
Please contact us with your specific needs, and we will get back to you as soon as our paws can type. Once we agree on a timeline and the deposit has been received, we will send you an invoice with the total balance due upon completion of the project.
