The client had been looking for an app that allows the students to interact with the community of students and the teachers. We developed IBE (Institute for Business Education) application to help students get access to the forum, instant messaging system and calendar. The students can enjoy a better experience being a part of the IBE community.
Features
- Forum section displays the forum topics for the selected courses
- Calendar for displaying current date and events
- Alerts will be displayed according to the courses enrolled by the students.
- Events section for displaying the list of all the events along with the dates
- Messaging system so that the students can send mail to the teachers
The users get an option to navigate to "Alerts", "Messages", "Calendars" and others. New thread can be created for the enrolled subjects under the Forum by others. Other students can post comments there.
Select the course for which the users want to get emails.
An option for selecting the language - Spanish / English is available for the users. The users get an option to select the course and set email notifications for the same courses. Options for Settings:
- Auto Login
- Language settings - App supports English and Spanish
- Push Notification settings - Users can check or uncheck the notification as required.
Users get an option of sending messages internally to the teachers. There is also an option to mark selected mail as "Read/Unread" and to "Delete".
Different formatting options for the message also available. Students can compose and send messages to the teachers according to the selected subjects. Single course has a single selected teacher allocated.
